Our new original equipment front and rear shocks are now in stock. We went to a large shock absorber manufacturing company that makes original equipment shocks for new cars. After lengthy testing and design work, we were able to have them exactly duplicate the original design shock for the VW Thing. You will be very pleased with the quality and performance.

NEW REAR TORSION BARS, SET OF TWO

We have had many requests for new rear torsion bars to replace the originals. After the nearly 40 years since the cars were built, many owners are having problems with the rear suspension sagging. We found a factory that specializes in producing only torsion bars. We had the originals reverse engineered and exactly reproduced, with one exception. We had them made TOUGHER! Our testing has shown that the new bars have the same twist resistance as the factory bars, but with higher quality steel.

These VW Thing C/V axles are the same size as the originals (thickness of the joint and the correct angle of operation). Don’t make the mistake and order bus C/V’s for your Thing. They have a thinner joint and they will not last on your Thing.
